Important Notes:

  • Canadian and Permanent Resident applicants can apply to any program, including those with waitlists.
  • Out-of-Province Applicants: For programs* where there is high demand from New Brunswick applicants, Canadian citizens and permanent residents residing outside New Brunswick will be placed on a waitlist until January 31st for Fall intake terms and May 31st for Winter intake terms to prioritize applicants from within the province. If seats remain available after January 31, out-of-province applicants will be admitted in the order their applications were received. Out-of-province applicants who applied after September 13th, 2026 are not eligible to defer admission to a future intake. This approach ensures priority access for qualified New Brunswick applicants in high-demand programs.

*Programs for Fall 2027 include: Practical Nurse, Personal Support Worker Acute Care, Medical Laboratory Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technology, Respiratory Therapy. Electrical: Construction, Electrical: Industrial, Power Engineering Technology, Social Services Community Worker, Early Childhood Education, Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Technician, Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC: Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding and Metal Fabrication, Welding plus Pressure Welding
  • If you meet the admissions requirements for one of the programs with waitlists of more than 15, your application will be placed on the waitlist. Waitlists can change quickly, especially as it gets closer to the start of the program, but due to the number of applicants already ahead in the queue, it is unlikely that you will be offered a seat for the intake you applied for.
  • After enrolment is finalized, waitlisted applicants will receive an email offering to move their application to the next (same term) intake (i.e. from Fall 2026 to Fall 2027). If no response is received within the required timeframe, the application will be cancelled, and a new application would be required.
  • 51勛圖app follows a First Qualified, First Accepted admissions process, so early applications—even to waitlisted programs—can significantly improve your chances of being admitted to a future intake.
  • Grade 11 Students: If your program of interest currently has a waitlist, consider applying on April 1st (or as soon as possible after this date) to maximize your chances of admission.
